HOW IT FUNCTIONS
Heat pipes is a two phase heat transfer device which employs evaporative cooling to transfer thermal energy from one point to another by the evaporation and condensation of a working fluid or coolant.
Heat Pipe Heat Exchangers
Generating hot water or steam is a profitable way of reusing high-temperature waste heat. This can reduce the load on process steam boilers and allows you to save fuel. The opportunity of electricity generation is also available if there is extra capacity.
Our heat pipe Economizer efficiently extract heat from hot flue gases and generate steam or hot water.
Our heat pipe Air preheater is placed on the stack of the furnace/boilers to preheat incoming air with exhaust gas thus saving energy, improving performance and reducing emissions. In addition to it, it can also be designed as a hot air generator for drying purposes.
Our heat pipes offers alternative product to recover waste heat for steam generation purpose. WHR systems produce power by consuming the heat energy lost to the surrounding from thermal process, with no additional fuel input. Our heat pipes heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) are easy to maintain, low footprint and highly reliable.
Steam condenser is a device in which the exhaust steam from steam turbine or waste steam is being condensed, be it a closed loop or open loop. Due to the heat pipes mechanical design there will be considerable reduction in the heat transfer surface area. As a result, our steam condenser is easy to operate and achieves low maintenance cost.
Our heat pipe Economizer efficiently extract heat energy from high temperature exhaust/flue gases to generate steam or hot water. The particular mechanical design adopts the throughflow heat exchange mechanism, which allows ease of installation, cleaning and maintenance in plants with space constraints.
Each individual heat pipe operates independently and heat exchanger is still able to operate in the event of a single pipe failure.
Working fluid within heat pipes allows for the elimination of cold spots induced condensation which would lead to dew point corrosion and impede heat energy recovery efficiency.

LOW PRESSURE DROP
Less capital and operational cost needed in modifying existing boiler fans and has minimal to no impact on processes.
Our HPHX can be easily cleaned and maintained in-situ without the need of dismantling. Manual and automated cleaning systems can be installed.
The utilization of smooth heat pipes allow for high particulate matter and oily applications. Our HPHX is also design to be a single-pass system which reduces the possibility of fouling.
